+20 years in IT architecture and software engineering

I am Principal IT Architect at DSB, the Danish State Railways, where I shape platforms, architecture and engineering practices for software that has to matter every day. I bring more than two decades of hands-on IT experience across transport, finance, insurance and the Danish public sector.

My strongest work happens where architecture meets delivery: Kubernetes, GitHub, GitOps, observability, security, Python automation and the developer experience that makes good teams faster. I have helped build platforms that turn complex enterprise requirements into paved roads engineers actually want to use.

Before returning to DSB, I worked as Systemarkitekt at Alka Forsikring, Chefkonsulent at Skatteministeriet and Senior Applikationsarkitekt at Nykredit, including work on mobile payments, tax administration and large-scale business-critical systems.
